2011 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: While Bart Scott is still a good player in the NFL his IDP value has taken a nose dive since his breakout season in 2006. A couple years ago their was a debate in IDP circles as to whom would be the better inside linebacker for IDP leagues in Bart Scott or David Harris, when Scott signed with the Jets in free agency.
We found out early on in the 2009 season, that it would be Harris that was still the top dog at the linebacker position to own and Scott is a complimentary player in the defense. Don’t look to Scott as a draft-able option as hes a situational waiver wire pickup at best, because of his lack of overall tackles and his failure to make big plays.

Much was made in IDP circles if Bart Scott or David Harris would be the better IDP inside linebacker on the Jets. In the end Scott was the same player he was in Balitmore and Harris was clearly the better option. Still, Scott is a valuable IDP linebacker and is worth having on your squad.
