Connor Barwin | Houston Texans | LB
2012 Experience: 4th Season
IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: Connor Barwin broke out big for the Texans last year and will remain a three down linebacker as the teams top option for sacks. Barwin should have a good shot at landing over 10 sacks this year but he’s likely nothing more than a reserve option, to play against weak opponents.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
I had Connor Barwin projected as a sleeper coming into last summer but an injury cost him the season. Barwin is raw talent and eventually I believe he will make some noise in IDP leagues but this season could be tricky for him as the Texans are switching to a 3-4 defense and Barwin will now be asked to play linebacker.
HE should be eligible for both the defensive line and linebacker positions this season but he’s probably not worth placing on your IDP rankings for summer drafts. Barwin could be a waiver wire pickup at some point.
