2011IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: I wasn’t a big fan of the Jets letting this guy go after one year of injury but upon his arrival to the Saints, New Orleans got themselves a quality middle linebacker for years to come. Vilma has been nothing but solid in his first three years with New Orleans and the train is going to keep on rolling across America.
Sure, Vilma only had just over 100 tackles last season but that should make it all the easier to snaggle foot him up as your No.2 and maybe even No.3 linebacker if he should fall in a tackle heavy draft. I don’t expect him to fall outside the top twenty linebackers and I do expect him to finish as one of the top twenty for the 2011 season. Go ahead and make Vilma your favorite son by drafting him as a starter on your team, and trust that he will get you respectable production most weeks.
