2012 Experience: Rookie
Fantasy Football Outlook: One player is standing in the way of Luke Kuechly holding regular LB2 value and that is Jon Beason. Don’t expect this talented veteran to give up the middle without a fight and is coaches have already informed us that Beason will be at his normal position.
If Beason some how recovers from his Achilles injury to play close to the linebacker we saw previous to the injury, he will stick. If not, expect Kuechly to work his way into the middle as the season moves along.
As it stands, Kuechly will be a three down linebacker and is a high end LB3 on draft day. For dynasty leagues, he should be the first IDP rookie off the board.
