Paris Lenon
Paris Lenon | Arizona Cardinals | Linebacker
Defensive Scheme: 3-4
2011 Experience: 10th Season
IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: The signing of Stewart Bradley was a killer for Paris Lenon’s odds of beginning a respectable top twenty five linebacker for IDP leagues, as his starting job is in jeopardy. What Lenon does have going for his odds of finding a starting job, is that Bradley is an injury concern and is likely to find his way to the inactive list at some point.
At this time, I would advise that you stay away from Lenon on draft day, as Bradley or fellow inside linebacker Daryl Washington are better options to target. I expect Lenon to make an appearance or two on our waiver wire pickups articles this season, so keep an eye on the health of Bradley.

June 2011
The replacement fo Karlos Dansby wasn’t up for filling a great linebackers shoes in all phases, but you wouldn’t know it if yo just looked at IDP fantasy points. Lenon was a great waiver wire addition and is just another example of why you don’t need to go for the Patrick Willis’s of the world, early like unseasoned IDP owners tend to do.
While it looks like the Cardinals are hoping to find a replacement for Lenon, they failed to draft anyone notable in the early rounds of this years draft. Mid round pick Quan Sturdivant could be a name of the future, but I don’t believe he would be ready to take Lenon’s job for at least another year or two. That means Lenon is ready to be a full time starter once again, and is projected to be a No.2 linebacker option in tackle heavy leagues.
The Cardinals will probably land a new quarterback in free agency, but it’s going to take some time for this offense to gel and that means the defense will be on the field a good amount of time. Look for Lenon to go well over 100 tackles on the season as he’s proven to be worth at least 120 tackles in the last three years (was with Lions) he’s been a full time starter.
