Ray Lewis | Baltimore Ravens | LB

2012 Experience: 17th Season

IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: Despite missing four games with an injury, and opposing teams funneling plays geared towards him, Ray Lewis is still a quality IDP option. He’s not what he once was, but likely the only three down linebacker on his team, Lewis will continue to be a candidate for close to 90 solos again.

The heart and soul of the Ravens defense, Lewis will be counted on a little more as Terrell Suggs is likely out for the year and Jarrett Johnson is gone to San Diego. Expect another low end LB1 season from the future first ballot Hall Of Fame linebacker.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections

I would like to see you tell Ray Lewis, he’s lost a step to his face, just to see the look on his face, before he picks you up and places you into a garbage can. This guy just doesn’t stop and now in his 16th season, the old veteran has admitted that he may only have a few more seasons left in him, but I expect him to play great all the way to the finish line.

One of the games true greats at middle / inside linebacker and he will go for over 130 tackles once again. Let others be concerned that he may be slowing down, but in terms of IDP fantasy football, he’s still a beast and will have another strong year.

2010 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook

When Ray Lewis is done he will be a first year Hall of Fame player but he’s not done just yet. Last year Lewis enjoyed an up tick in tackles with Bart Scott gone to the Jets. Lewis should have another fine season this year as the Ravens are primed for a good season.
