The Bengals defense should be on the field often this year as it looks like Carson Palmer is moving on and they will likely have a rookie under center. The only thing that can stop Maualuga from being a weekly starter, is if he fall to an injury. Look to Maualuga as a great sleeper option for your squad this season and he is a nice No.3 linebacker to get in your leagues. 2010 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook
The Bengals have been trying Rey Maualuga out at middle linebacker and that is the position he will play in the future. Although it is unlikely he will play the middle this season he might at some point. For now, Maualuga isn’t worth having on your IDP fantasy squad unless your willing to hold him in hopes he will take the middle over some time this year.
