2012 IDP Profiles: Defensive Linemen

In individual defensive player (IDP) fantasy football, you will find three basic sections that will fill up your roster, and they are defensive lineman, linebackers and defensive backs. For the defensive line, you obviously have a breakdown of two main parts, and they are the defensive ends and the defensive tackles or nose tackles in 3 – 4 defenses.

In more advanced leagues, you must have not only defensive lineman but you have to select at least one defensive end and one tackle. Understand that in IDP it is generally the defensive ends that are more valuable than the tackles because they are involved in more action on the field.
