IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: Cameron Wake moves out of the dog house and possibly into the penthouse with his position change to defensive end. Wake is one of the better pass rushers in the game, and he’s had time at this position when he played back in Canada.
While I have some concerns about who will play opposite him, rookie Olivier Vernon could be a candidate for defenses to give some attention to in the future.
Wake will have to deal with being chipped at the line of scrimmage, but he could still find a way to hold low DL1 value. For now, I like him as an upside DL2 on draft day.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
One of our favorite breakout options for big play leagues last season, Cameron Wake got it done in a big way as he totaled just under 60 tackles to go with this 14 sacks on the season. It took Wake a few years before he made onto an NFL roster, but the same thing can be said about the Steelers outstanding pass rusher James Harrison.
Wake should be a good bet to climb past the ten sack mark again this year as I have a feeling he will be one of the games better sack masters for a few years to come. The Dolphins 3-4 scheme is perfect for him and he has the right physical tools to continue being a dominant force off the edge. Look to Wake as one of the better big play linebackers after top stars like Harrison and DeMarcus Ware.

2010 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook
Cameron Wake has generated buzz for his speed and strength that suggests he could breakout for a big sack total. In his first year with the Dolphins he totaled 5 1/2 sacks on the season but he should see more work on defense this season. For IDP fantasy owners Wake is just a sleeper at best this season as he needs to show he can be a solid option in deep big play leagues.
