Elvis Dumervil

Elvis Dumervil | Denver Broncos | Defensive Lineman / Linebacker
Defensive Scheme: 4-3 (Switching From 3-4)
2011 Experience: 6th Season
IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: Elvis Dumervil missed all of last year with a torn pectoral muscle, but he will be a full go with camps start as he moves back to the front line in John Fox’s 4-3 defense. It is expected that Dumervil will be a three down lineman this season and that makes sense when you figure he is clearly one of the better pass rushers in the game.
Just look at Julius Peppers, Mike Rucker and Charles Johnson as reasons to believe that Dumervil is ready to have a top ten performance and this guy could be better than all of those names for big play leagues, in his system. Because Dumervil missed last year, he can be had at a reasonable top fifteen price as lineman go, but if he plays a full 16 games, he should be close to a top five producer. This should be a big bounce back season for Dumervil, and his presence is a big deal for a Broncos defense that struggled without him.
Please Note: Dumervil should retain eligibility for linebacker and may not start out the year as a defensive end (ESPN leagues are that way) but that should change after week one, if not before.
