Glenn Dorsey | Kansas City Chiefs | Defensive End
2011 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: You can’t expect Glenn Dorsey to be a impact option for big play leagues because he’s in a 3-4 defense and while he will continue to rack up the tackles, he won’t get much in the way of sacks and forced fumbles. Dorsey is a decent depth option in deep tackle heavy leagues because he continues to prove he can get it done with a respectable tackle total throughout the season.
Still, it’s likely that he won’t return to 69 tackles from a year ago and he’s probably a matchup play a best if your in a league that only forces you to start a couple lineman a week. At least Dorsey can give you respectable tackle numbers and that carries weight when compared to a lineman that fails to get the sacks in stretches and drives you crazy. Consider Dorsey a low upside, dependable option for your squad.

2010 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook
Glenn Dorsey hasn’t been the big time impact player the Chiefs drafted him to be a few years ago but he’s still productive. Last season Dorsey had over 50 tackles on the season but only one sack. In a 3-4 defense it is usually hard for defensive ends to make a strong impact but Dorsey could overtime.
With the Chiefs offense much improved the Chiefs should stay in football games deep into the second half. This should allow more opportunities for the defensive line to sack the quarterback and make plays. Dorsey remains a deep sleeper for the 2010 IDP fantasy football season until he starts making more plays.
