James Hall | Defensive Lineman
2011 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: For all the talk about Chris Long as a breakout option in recent years, it was veteran James Hall that kept chugging along and had his second best sack total of his career with 10.5 and over 50 tackles on the season. Hall proved to be a worthy option to start in leagues that hold at least two defensive end starting positions.
Look to Hall as worthy depth for your squad as the Rams love to play aggressive with their ends, and Hall should continue to get a good amount of playing time. That said, don’t view him as one of the true top twenty at defensive lineman because his sack totals are usually around five per season with about 40 tackles a year, and that is more like a matchup / bye week play than an accountable starting option.
