Kamerion Wimbley | Tennessee Titans | DE

2012 Experience: 7th Season

IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: The move to Tennessee should be a good one for Kamerion Wimbley and his dynasty owners. Wimbley will play as a defensive end this year, making him an instant DL2 option. For casual IDP fantasy owners, this move may go unnoticed, but make sure you have him listed because he could have DL1 upside.

If Derrick Morgan is up for finally breaking out as the opposite bookend, it will greatly help Wimbley as teams will be forced to stay in max protection or leave one of these pass rushers in a one-on-one situation.

The Titans were the worst pass rush team in the league last year, but these two should benefit as opposing offenses will test a secondary that lost Cortland Finnegan this offseason.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections

Kamerion Wimbley road his hot preseason on to a nine sack regular season in his first year with the Silver and Black. While Wimbley is probably best left off most IDP rosters this summer, he will no doubt be on someones team for at least big play leagues as the year moves along. Sure, if you looked at his production from a year ago, it’s worthy of drafting in big play leagues, but how many of you trust that he can do it again?

2010 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook

Many questioned if Kamerion Wimbley would be effective with the Raiders as he’s spent his footbal career in a 3-4 style defense and would be changing to a 4-3. The early results are very positive as Wimbley has consistently put pressure on the quarterback in preseason and early in the regular season. Look to Wimbley as a nice depth option in big play leagues.
