2012 Experience: 12th Season
IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: If the Raiders hold onto Richard Seymour into the regular season he will return to being a defensive end in a 3-4 scheme. Seymour has had success in the past in this scheme but at his current age I’m not holding my breath.
View him as nothing more than a late round depth option, and let’s hope the Raiders figure out that they don’t have the personnel to run a 3-4 and switch back to a 4-3 scheme.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
The Raiders moved Ricard Seymour inside and in the first half of the season he was terrific until a nagging hamstring injury cost him three games in the second half of the season. While Seymour is a worth option for a No.2 starter at defensive line for IDP fantasy football, his value is best held in leagues that require you to use a tackle position.
I’m sure the Patriots let Seymour go a couple years ago because they were concerned about his long term health so it is probably a injury risk for nagging injuries, but he should still be a weekly starter at the tackle position.
