Ellis is a talented defensive tackle and that is exactly why he was selected by the Saints as a top ten pick in the 2008 draft. While Ellis may not be the top tackle to go after he is a worthy starter as he can get to the quarterback and rack up enough tackles, to be a steady, weekly option.

2010 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook
Sedrick Ellis was having a decent season until a knee injury took him out of six games. The Saints had the luxury to sit Ellis for a few of those games as they rested him for the playoffs. This hurt IDP fantasy owners as they no doubt selected Ellis as one of the promising young defensive tackles. If Ellis stays healthy he is the rock for the Saints’ run defense and should be a good bet to create disruption as well.
