2013 Experience: 2nd season

Fantasy Football Outlook: What a season it was in 2012 as three rookie’s enjoyed breakout seasons and Tucker had the best year of all as his team won the Super Bowl. I didn’t pay much attention to Tucker before the season, but his leg jump out at me as early as Baltimore’s week one game against the Bengals.
Tucker has the leg and accuracy to be a top five fantasy kicker for years to come. Unlike Greg Zuerlein and Blair Walsh, Tucker will have to get it done playing outdoors and in cold weather at the end of the season.
Still, I love the confidence this guy has as you could tell in the playoffs he had no hesitation about the pressure of kicking in the playoffs. Tucker converted on all four of his playoff opportunities and it was his final conversion in the Super Bowl that put extra pressure on the 49ers at the end of the game.
Tucker was 4 of 4 on his attempts from over 50 with a long on the season of 56 yards. His only three misses (30 of 33) came from the range of 40 to 49 but he did make 10 of his 13 attempts. That brings him up to 14 of 17 from 40 plus and not one missed field goal from shorter than 40 yards, not to mention the playoffs.
Look to the Ravens talented young kicker as a weekly starter in fantasy leagues and likely a top 5 on my board this summer.
