2012 Experience: 6th season
Fantasy Football Outlook: Matt Prater went from the out-house to the pent-house when the trading of Tim Tebow and the addition of Peyton Manning, this off-season.
In the prime of his career, Prater should be a low round target kicker who will have no problems developing into an instant weekly starter, when Manning under-center.
We’ve known for years that Denver is a great field for long field-goal opportunities, and while the Broncos will be scoring more touchdowns this year, they will also place Prater in better situations for multiple attempts weekly.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
Matt Prater has turned into one of the better kickers in the game over the past two seasons, but a groin injury ended his season early in 2010. With all the projected turnover in Denver this off-season, and Prater’s health concerns, it’s hard to make of what his numbers will look like this season. Prater is worthy in talent of a starting kicker in ten team leagues but because of the team and health concerns you should look to other options to start the season.

2010 Preview
Matt Prater has a solid kicking leg and is sure helps that he plays in the mile high thin air. As long as the Broncos continue to play good defense, Prater is worth having on fantasy rosters.
2010 Fantasy Football Outlook
2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Matt Prater put together his second solid fantasy season in 2009. This was a good sign as it just about solidifies that Prater can be a viable option for his team when called upon in future years.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Unfortunately, for Prater the Broncos parted ways with offensive weapons Brandon Marshall and Tony Scheffler this offseason. Even worse the team is in a state of flux with their quarterback situation.
With so many questions on offense, Prater’s fantasy value will suffer as we head into draft this summer. Look for Prater to be a solid option when the team faces teams, they can move the football against. Other than that you will want to have another option when they face good all around teams.
