Jake Delhomme
Jake Delhomme | Cleveland Browns| QB
2011 Experience: 13th season
Fantasy Football Outlook: Jake Delhomme has seen better days in the NFL as the past two seasons have been horrible for the pound veteran quarterback. Delhomme may still want to be a starting quarterback, but frankly I was shocked that the Browns gave him the contract they did back in March of 2010.
No surprise that Delhomme picked up where he left off with the Panthers, and it looks like the veteran may need to play for the league veteran minimum if he is to stay in Cleveland. Colt McCoy will probably be the teams’ starter in 2011, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Delhomme catches on with another team or decides to call it a career if he can’t win the job in camp.

2010 Preview
Jake Delhomme had a good preseason and started out ok week one until he suffered a high ankle sprain. Hopefully the Browns will get Delhomme back soon as they need him to move the passing game.
2010 Fantasy Football Outlook
2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Fantasy owners with Steve Smith found out the hard way that Jake Delhomme was washed up. For the year Delhomme had eighteen interceptions with only eight touchdown passes. This is why I was screaming for Coach John Fox to bench Delhomme in October and to play Matt Moore instead.
Finally, the Delhomme catastrophe ended with about a month left in the season and Moore help the Panthers finish the year strong.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Somehow, someway Delhomme not only found another franchise be a starter for, but he also received a two year contract worth over twelve million dollars. That pathetic team happens to be the lonely Browns, and it’s amazing how far this offense has fallen since their 2007 glory.
Coach Eric Mangini is already talking about having his game plans this year include both Delhomme and backup Seneca Wallace. It’s amazing to me that an NFL team can have such a joke for a quarterback situation and still think they are going to do better than people think.
This is going to be a long season for the Browns passing game and fantasy owners need to start defenses that are good against the run against them. Hello Steelers, Bengals and Ravens as they all get to face this group two times in 2010.
