Fantasy Football Outlook: One of the more interesting prospects coming out of the 2012 draft, if Ryan Tannehill works out, he could bring the Dolphins back from the gutter. At this point, that is exactly what they need, but hopefully we won’t see him on the field, until the later portion of the season.
Tannehill has the luxury of having his former college coach Mike Sherman on board with the Dolphins, so he shouldn’t have a hard time with being coached up, early on.
To learn more about what Tannehill brings to the table, I recommend you read up on the articles I have attached below. Draftnik Matt Waldman does a great job breaking down in detail what he’s seen from Tannehill in the pocket, and why he likes him as a prospect.
This is especially worth looking at if you’re considering him for your dynasty league, as it may give you further insight, into determining if you should hold him for future years.
An upside prospect, Tannehill will need time, and a much better receiving corps (worst in the league) before he has start-worthy upside. At this time, he’s just a dynasty prospect but could turn into a top ten fantasy quarterback in a few years.
