Fantasy Football Outlook: While Bernard Scott is a capable running back, I’m not sure we will see him touch the football much more than with BenJarvus Green-Ellis starting, in contrast to Cedric Benson. Yes, Benson is gone, but the Bengals have a long history of using one running back as more of a feature runner.
Look to Scott as only a speculative pickup in redraft leagues, but he’s a worthy hand cuff in dynasty leagues.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
Bernard Scott has shown flashes of being a productive running back for fantasy if given a chance. That won’t happen unless an injury occurs to Cedric Benson (likely to re-sign) or another running back because while Scott has talent I can’t see any team ever investing in him to be a starter, long term.
Look to Scott as a waiver wire option at best as the Bengals don’t projected to be a winning team this season and he will need injuries to occur before he’s worth holding.
