2011 Fantasy Football Outlook: It took Brian Westbrook until mid August to settle with a new football team as he chose the 49ers after Glen Coffee suddenly retired. Westbrook wasn’t a factor for fantasy until Frank Gore went down with an injury, then Westbrook became a fantasy relevant player once again.
Now a free agent once again, the Browns have been linked as a possible team of interest for Westbrook, but we won’t know anything for sure until the lockout ends. No matter where Westbrook goes, his fantasy value will be the same as it was a year ago, and that is a waiver wire player until injuries to fellow runners give him a chance to play.
