Fantasy Football Outlook: No Dan “Boom” Herron isn’t Ahmad Bradshaw, but when I watch his video highlights, he kind of reminds me of the Giants running back. Herron appears to be a fighter and while he’s not a very gifted player, he could find his way into the starting lineup, at some point.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis will be the starter in Cincinnati, but I’m not a big believer in Bernard Scott’s ability to be a feature back, if Green-Ellis should go down. Herron won’t have much competition to win a roster spot, so he may find himself with an opportunity to play.
Target Herron as a late round pick in rookie dynasty drafts, and if he comes out with a never-say-die attitude, he could be find, down the stretch.
