Fantasy Football Outlook: After a knee injury ended his season last summer, people may forget how effective Rashad Jennings was in 2010. Now back and healthy, Jennings is the backup to Maurice Jones-Drew again, and with the star running back in a holdout, we should take notice of Jennings.
Heck, even if MJD is ready to go for week one, we should still keep an eye on Jennings because he has flex play to low end RB2 potential if something should happen.
MJD was terrific coming off of microfracture knee surgery last summer, but you never know when a knee problem can crop up again, and he did carry the football a lot last year. Jennings is worth stashing in dynasty leagues.

Jennings Done For The Year
Strike one of my sleepers off the list for your draft, as Jennings is lost for the year with a knee injury. MJD may have problems holding up, so maybe another runner will emerge, should MJD go down.
Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
Looking for a deep sleeper for the 2011 fantasy football season? Rashad Jennings is worth a look as Maurice Jones-Drew is coming off a knee injury and I have him as a projected bust this season. I just don’t believe Jones-Drew’s knee issue will respond to allow him to take a feature role and the presence of Jennings makes is so that the coach have an reason to rest their star running back.
If Jones-Drew should find a way to play in every game, look for the Jaguars to use Jennings when the team is up with a lead and they are trying to kill the clock. The backups seven touchdown scores and 5.2 yard per carry average should tell you he’s ready to be a factor is giving a starting job. That will only happen if Jones-Drew should miss some time but I wouldn’t be surprised if it occurs.
