Fantasy Football Outlook: Taiwon Jones is an explosive back, but the thoughts out of Oakland is he’s nothing more than a complimentary player. Perhaps this is the reason they made a trade for Mike Goodson (probably would’ve drafted someone, but they had only a handful of picks) this offseason.
Darren McFadden has missed at least four games, each of the four years he’s been in the league, so it’s likely that Goodson and Jones will see playing time. Question is, how many snaps will Jones see, if McFadden is out?
For now, look to Goodson as the backup to hold if you have McFadden, but if Jones should win the backup role, he could have some big games, if given a chance to start.
