Fantasy Football Outlook: Statistically speaking the Chiefs finished 12 in the league against the pass last year, but that’s a little miss leading when teams know your offense can’t score, therefore it’s best to keep the football on the ground and control the clock.
No surprise the Chiefs finished 27th against the run and 25th in points given up. This defense is better than that, and additions of corner backs Sean Smith and Dunta Robinson will make an impact against passing offenses like the Broncos and Chargers.
With Andy Reid in town and Alex Smith at quarterback we should expect things to stabilize on offense. While I don’t recommend you look to the Chiefs as an option to draft, they will be a worthy matchup play off the waiver wire.
