Dwayne Allen | Indianapolis Colts | TE
2013 Experience: 2nd Season
|Twitter News||Team Schedule|
Fantasy Football Outlook: Allen had a respectable rookie season as the Colts starting inline tight end. Time will tell if Allen can continue to out play teammate Coby Fleener in terms of offensive production, but Allen had about twice as many fantasy points as his counterpart last year.
Because Allen is the starting inline option, he should have a good chance at respectable TE2 numbers because he’s likely to remain in a pass first offense. If Allen can push his reception total closer to 60 and up his touchdowns, we could see him evolve into a regular starting option in 12 team leagues.

Summer of 2012: Fantasy Projection
The Colts drafted the top two tight ends in the 2012 class. Look for Coby Fleener to play as a Joker, lining up from multiple spots, and Dwayne Allen will be the traditional inline tight end.
While Fleener will likely hold better value in fantasy leagues, don’t forget about Allen, a talented player in his own right. The Colts are expected to use both tight ends on the field regularly, but Allen will likely see more snaps, because of his position.
For now, Allen is only a mid to late round pick in rookie dynasty leagues, and will likely be left on the waiver wire in redraft leagues, to start the season.
