Fantasy Football Outlook: Why do I feel like I’m Al Pacino in Godfather three when it comes to Jared Cook.
“Just when I think I’m done with Cook; he pulls me back in!”
A talent for sure, Cook either has a penchant for playing well at the end of the season, or he’s finally figured things out (post Jan. 11th). Cook was a monster in the closing weeks, but because of his inconsistent play, it’s likely only fantasy owners in deep leagues, even considered playing him in the playoffs.
With the addition of Kendall Wright and Kenny Britt coming back from an ACL injury, Cook is suddenly a part of what looks to be a potential star-filled lineup. If Jake Locker can build in his success from a year ago, we could see this passing attack come out of nowhere.
Target Cook as a high end TE2 on draft day, and if he has found his groove, he should be a top ten at his position, with upside for big plays.
