Fantasy Football Outlook: In what could be his final season, future Hall Of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez will post another reliable TE1 stat-line. In the thirteen years Gonzalez has played, he’s only failed to suit up for three games, so you know he’s an accountable weekly option.
While Gonzalez doesn’t have the breakaway ability he once had, he still knows how to get open, and his sure hands make him a reliable target for Matt Ryan. If you decide to wait on tight end, or you’re just looking for a good backup, Gonzalez is worth adding on your team.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
It looks like Tony Gonzalez is a lock to play another season with the Falcons but this could be the last year in a terrific career. Probably, the greatest tight end of all time, Gonzalez is still worth using as a fantasy starter, but I could see his production dropping if Julio Jones proves ready to make an impact in his rookie year.
Look to Gonzalez as one of the last starting tight ends to take for ten to twelve team leagues as he’s in his 15th season, but he will be a factor in the early going. I’m mainly concerned about Gonzalez keeping his production strong as we head into the second half of the season, as older veterans have a hard time producing for a full season.

2010 Preview
Tony Gonzalez had another productive fantasy season in his new digs. The NFL best all time receiving tight end may not be a top five fantasy tight end this year, but he will still be a productive player.
2010 Fantasy Football Outlook
2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Tony Gonzalez found himself out of Kansas City for the first time in his career last season when the Chiefs traded him to the Falcons. This was a big move for Matt Ryan as it gave him another weapon to go with Roddy White.
For the season Gonzalez had another good year with over 800 yards receiving, 83 receptions and six touchdowns.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Gonzalez decided early in the offseason that he was going to come back for his 14th NFL season. With a young quarterback in Ryan that is only getting better and a playoff caliber team, Gonzalez is in a good situation.
Look for the veteran to have another productive fantasy season as he is the second best option in the passing game for Ryan to look for.
