Fantasy Football Outlook: For those who were weren’t fans of Quick coming out of college, he did nothing to disappoint them in his rookie year. The Rams countered by not only drafting Tavon Austin but his partner in crime at West Virginia in Stedman Bailey.
It is Bailey that dynasty owners with Quick should fear most. Not because Austin won’t make an impact in the offense, but because Bailey will be the one pushing him for a starting job on the outside. I expect Bailey to win the job, but it will be a battle to keep an eye on, not only during training camp, but during the season.
Don’t look to Quick as an option on draft day, but if he should win a starting job, we should keep our eye’s on this developing situation.

2012, Fantasy Projection
An interesting receiver, Brian Quick looks like Terrell Owens, but he has a long way to go before he’s able to play at a Hall Of Fame level.
Quick is a very raw player, as he’s only played football (was a basketball player) for a short period of time. The Rams selected him early in the second round and while I believe they would’ve been better off with Rueben Randle; the pick is over with now. Quick will be expected to contribute this year, and could win a starting job at some point.
Look for fellow rookie Chris Givens to have a better rookie season, but if Quick can figure things out, he could be a future WR2 in fantasy leagues. If you have to select Quick in the first round of your rookie dynasty draft, I suggest you stay away, but if you should take him, be willing to wait on his game to develop.
