Fantasy Football Outlook: Dexter McCluster was an interesting rookie coming into last season as the Chiefs selected him early in the second round of the draft. McCluster went on to help the Chiefs as they used him in the passing game, running game and especially in special teams. While I expect McCluster role to expand this season, the presence of rookie Jonathan Baldwin will probably keep McCluster form ever being a waiver wire option in most fantasy leagues.
If your in a league that gives respectable value for return numbers, McCluster is worth looking at as his value will be fully utilized in those leagues.

Dexter McCluster was considered to be used as a running back or wide receiver coming into the draft. In the end, he was selected by the Chiefs in the early part of the second round as a wide receiver. Expect McCluster to help this team all around the field but he will mostly be used in the slot.
2010 Fantasy Football Outlook
College/ 2010 NFL Draft: Dexter McCluster was one of the few bright spots for Old Miss as he continued to make explosive plays in the running game and the passing game. At the draft, McCluster was a high second round pick for the Chiefs, and they plan on making him a receiver in the pros.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: The Chiefs are going to use McCluster as the teams’ slot receiver and that is a good idea for the talent he has. This explosive player will make some big plays for the Chiefs this season, but in the future I’m not sure he will be fantasy relevant.
With Dwayne Bowe and Chris Chambers on the team as well it will take at least a couple of seasons for McCluster to get enough touches to use on in a league. Still, McCluster should be a fun player to watch and some people will roll the dice on him when he has a good week.
