Fantasy Football Outlook: Donald Driver has been a true heart and soul player for the Green Bay Packers but he clearly wasn’t the same producer on the field last year. For the first time in years, Driver failed to reach 1,000 yards receiving and in fact he didn’t even reach 600 in fifteen games as a starter. While Driver will continue to help Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense, Jordy Nelsonlooks to be the ideal replacement for the veteran as the true No.2 receiver to own off this team for fantasy football.

2010 Preview
Donald Driver is still a starter for the Packers but with so much depth a receiver, it’s hard to start him every week. Still, Driver is a good player to have on any fantasy roster.
2010 Fantasy Football Outlook
2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Donald Driver produced another decent season for fantasy owners as he went over 1,000 yards receiving and six touchdowns. With Aaron Rodgers becoming one of the more fantasy friendly quarterbacks in football it only shows that the Packers will be a strong offense for years to come.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Driver is probably one of my favorite players in the NFL because of the situation he came from as a child and the heart and soul he plays with on the field. That said last season was probably the final year that Driver was worth using on fantasy rosters.
This offseason Driver had surgery on both his knee’s and at age 35 it’s not promising that he will be the teams starting receiver opposite Greg Jennings. If Driver can’t comeback and play at the level his coaches are accustomed to it could leave the door wide open for James Jones to unseat him in the starting role.
If Driver should keep his starting job fantasy owners have to be conservative in selecting him because the odds of him staying strong all year can’t be promising. With Jones and Jordy Nelson behind him, it’s going t be a challenge for him to convince the coaches, he’s worth keeping on the field as maybe even the teams third receiver.
At this time, all this is speculation so I don’t want you to think Driver is washed up, but it would be wise to pass on Driver at draft day unless you nab him up late.
