2010 Preview
We held out hope for Donnie Avery to be a deep sleeper with upside this season but sadly he tore his ACL in the third preseason game. Avery is done for the year and and he will have to wait till next year to make an impact for the Rams.
2010 Fantasy Football Outlook
2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Donnie Avery had a disappointing season in his second year as the Rams were by far the worst overall team in football. For Avery, he struggled with consistency and he was constantly dinged up throughout the season.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: If Avery is going to be a relevant option in fantasy football this season, he will need his offensive line to play at a respectable level. If the quarterback doesn’t have time to throw the football than Avery won’t have a chance to be a consistent producer.
As long as Avery can come into the season healthy I do believe he is worth stashing on your roster as added depth. Last year Avery started to show more maturity and this offseason he has come into camp in great shape. Look for Avery as a decent option to use for bye week help on your team.
