2011 Fantasy Football Outook: While Greg Salas has the potential to be a fantasy factor in the coming years, he will play in a cluttered receiving core with fellow rookie Austin Pettis, Danny Amendola, Danario Alexander, Donnie Avery and possibly Mark Clayton or Brandon Gibson, as well. With so many receivers, it’s starting to look more like Sam Bradford will benefit but most of his receivers won’t get enough attention to be a weekly option for fantasy football.
Of all the receivers on the list, it is probably Amendola that will have the best value as he is projected to be used like Wes Welker in offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels offense. For Salas, he figures to be a factor in the red zone and will probably make the occasional tough catch over the middle, but probably will lose out on playing time to Clayton and others, to be a draft worthy option in redraft leagues.
