Justin Blackmon | Jacksonville Jaguars | WR
2013 Experience: 2nd Season

Fantasy Football Outlook: Blackmon had his problems off the field before the Jaguars drafted him last spring. After a solid rookie season, Blackmon had another run-in with the law because of alcohol and was suspended by the league for the first four games of this season.
The next time Blackmon falters off the field he’s likely to receive a one-year suspension, so fantasy owners will need to take note of that for future years.
For now, Blackmon is worthy of a WR4 ranking on your draft boards and is a more attractive option in PPR leagues. If Blackmon didn’t have the off the field problems and were in more appealing fantasy situation, he would have low-end WR1 upside.
Unfortunately that’s not where things stand and with the problems Jacksonville has a quarterback, I’m not looking to Blackmon for my team until at least the 10th round of drafts.

Summer of 2012: Fantasy Projection
Opportunity is there for Justin Blackmon to have a productive rookie season, but how effective will the quarterback play be? If you happen to select Blackmon in redraft or dynasty leagues, it’s likely your routing for Chad Henne to win the starting job.
Blaine Gabbert probably deserves more time before we can wright him off as a bust, but as long as he’s on the field; it could ruin Blackmon’s chances of finding his way into your starting lineup.
As for Blackmon’s game, consider him a good weapon in the red zone, and more of a possession receiver. Blackmon has been impressive in OTAs and with the Jaguars weak depth at receiver, he’s a lock to entire the year as a starter.
Look to the young receiver as a better fit for PPR leagues, but he should be a reasonable WR4 target in any scoring format. As for dynasty leagues, Blackmon should be regarded as one of the top receivers off the board and no lower than the tenth pick.
