Fantasy Football Outlook: While Mohamed Sanu was drafted before Jones, the fellow rookie had his opportunity in the starting lineup at the end of the year. Jones didn’t do much statistically in his first three starts, but in the final two games during the year he hauled in five receptions in each game.
Jones will have an opportunity to win a starting job opposite A.J. Green but it remains to be seen if he can become a consistent fantasy option. With the addition of Tyler Eifert and Giovani Bernard, we could be looking at one of the better scoring offenses down the road.
I think Jones can become a relevant fantasy option, but let’s pass on him in summer drafts, unless you play in leagues with at least 14 teams.

Summer 2012 Fantasy Projection
Maybe some feel Marvin Jones isn’t a dynamic player but we shouldn’t count him out. Drafted after Mohamed Sanu, Jones will be battling for the No.2 job and I like his chances of holding this spot by years end.
More than just a possession receiver, Jones is a solid route runner and perhaps he’s the best in this years’ class. While Jones won’t get much attention in redraft leagues, target him as a valuable receiver to hold in the later rounds of your rookie dynasty draft.
