Fantasy Football Outlook: You could see Broyles emerging as the No.2 option in the Lions passing game during the middle of the season, as he worked his way back from a college knee injury. Unfortunately, Broyles suffered another torn ACL injury and will have to work his way back once again.
We should see Broyles back on the field at some point this season and if he can get back to the level of play he was at a year ago, he will make an impact in the Lions offense. Better suited for PPR leagues, as he can rack up the receptions, like he did in college.
I like Broyles as a long-term prospect for fantasy leagues, but his knee problems are concerning. If he can return to health, his opportunity for the No.2 receiver job opposite Calvin Johnson is wide open with Titus Young falling off the deep end and earning a ticket out of Detriot this off-season.

Summer 2012 Fantasy Projection
The Lions aren’t counting Ryan Broyles out for week one, but coming off a knee injury in college; it’s likely he will start on year on the PUP list. While some in Detroit were upset about the Lions taking a receiver in the second round, I love the pick and Broyles will be an impact slot receiver in the future.
Matthew Stafford will have another weapon coming his way by mid-season and Broyles could have future WR3 potential, but that won’t happen this year.
Don’t forget about Broyles in rookie dynasty drafts as a mid round pick, but he should be avoided in redraft leagues, on draft day.
