2009 Record/Standing: 11-5 | 2nd NFC North

Offensive Stats:

Points 28.8 (3rd) | Pass 261 (7th) | Run 118 (14th)

Packer Notes: For all the talent this team has I sure hope Aaron Rodgers plays this season as he played the final games of last year. Early in the 2009 season, Rodgers had offensive line problems and became a wild gunslinger. At times, I swore that Rodgers wasn’t playing for the Packers, and that it was Tony Romo at his wildest out there. Still, Rodgers had a nice turn around and this team is ready to win their division. Now, we need to find out if Brett Favre will be back to stand in the way.

Instead of just giving you current fantasy players from a particular organization, we have also included some of the best players and moments in each teams history. This way you get an idea of not just current events from an organization but where they’ve come from.

Teams with rich history for a curtain side of the football or a curtain position tend to want great players in those areas of their team in the future.

Other organizations are still young or haven’t had much success until this point in time and the best moments in their history are happening right now or in the future. Anyway from Dick Butkus to Barry Sanders we have some of the more memorable moments right here as selected from You Tube.

Before you’re 2010 fantasy football draft begins, it’s always good to see the schedule of particular players you’re prospecting for your future team.

While there is no guaranteeing which teams will be strong and which teams will be weak in a given season, it’s still good to have an idea of the opponents your players will face.

Once the 2010 – 2011 season has started, we will find out which teams are for real and which teams are going to fold up. Who would have thought the Bengals would go undefeated in their division and the Titans would start out losing their first six games in 2009?

Throughout the season, you can always come back to our site and use our schedules for each team and player for your reference. Alternatively, you can also print out or download the schedule as well.

Before The Draft: The Packers would be wise to add a rookie offensive tackle for depth at this years’ draft. With a great quarterback, you want to make sure he’s able to stay on the field. Rodgers got his tackles back this offeseason but they were injury prone last year.

First Round

23. Green Bay Packers: OT Bryan Bulaga - This was a great move for the future as they need to keep Rodgers healthy for a long time. This gives the Packers nice depth for now and a great talent for the future.

Second Round

56. Packers Select: DT Mike Neal - Neal gives the Packers more depth on the front line as they can rotate him in and let him mature in a backup role. The Packs D will be solid once again in 2010.

Rounds Three – Seven

Round 3, Pick 7 (71) Morgan Burnett SS

Round 5, Pick 23 (154) Andrew Quarless TE

Round 5, Pick 38 (169) Marshall Newhouse OT

Round 6, Pick 24 (193) James Starks RB

Round 7, Pick 23 (230) C.J. Wilson DE

For all the success, this team had last season wide receiver Greg Jennings was a big bust in fantasy football. One would have thought he would be just fine with the best fantasy quarterback from 2009 but that was not the case.

Expect Aaron Rodgers to continue to spread the football around and thus limit Jennings touchdown opportunities.
